Standalone Mug Heat Press Machine Usage Guide, Temperature and Pressure Settings, Function Review
In this video, we take you through an in-depth review of the Standalone Mug Heat Press Machine from AM.CO.ZA. We show you how to operate the machine, and we do tests with different types of mugs so that you can see if this is the right mug heat press for your needs.
To get started we need to turn the machine on via the switch located on the side. It is important to note the reset button located above the power switch, in case you need to reset the timer or temperature if needed. Once you turn the machine on, the control panel is lit up.
On the control panel, you can see the temperature, which can be set from Fahrenheit to Celcius. Or you can leave it at Fahrenheit and simply convert. Then you have the timer, which is the amount of the time that the heat press will press the artwork onto the mug when the desired temperature is reached. If you would like to adjust the temperature, you need to press mode, and then the light next to “Temp” will flash. You can also set a fluctuating temperature if the job requires so.
Once the temperature and time are set correctly, you can insert the mug and press the play button and the machine will begin to press the artwork onto the mug. If you need to stop the jop, you can either hit the play button again or press the reset button located at the side.
We are now ready to heat press onto the mug. We have already applied the artwork to the mug using a heat-sensitive tape to hold the artwork in place. When placing the mug into the press, the mug cannot be loose. If this is the case, you can adjust the pressure placed on the mug. We then press play, and when the desired temperature is reached, the timer will start to count down.
Once the job is down, remove the mug and be careful not to apply pressure to the tape covering the artwork. We use a pair of tweezers to remove the tape and then you can see the finished job, which in our case, came out really well.
Now we are going to try a bigger mug to see how the mug heat press performs. When placing the bigger mug, we will need to adjust the pressure to allow the mug to be fit in the holder. As you can see the mug heat press does an excellent job at heat pressing onto a large mug too.
The mug press works really well for smaller and larger mugs and is super easy to use.
